Business Buzz – March 2026

By March 21, 2026May 21st, 2026Business Buzz

The March edition of Business Buzz is here, and this issue puts a spotlight on the people and programs building Columbia County’s workforce of tomorrow. We’re celebrating Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month with a look back at the Career Cafes held throughout February, where local students sat down with employers like AgroLiquid, HCA Lake City, ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and more for one-on-one conversations about career pathways, resumes, and soft skills.

This month also breaks down what Economic Development actually means for our community (hint: it’s about a lot more than big business) and why infrastructure is the foundation that makes everything else possible. Plus, we shine a light on Fresh Prints Miami (WE PRINT), a family-owned Lake City print shop that has been bringing brands to life for over 11 years, and welcome Sharrah’s RV Park to the Columbia County business community.

You’ll also learn a bit of local history about the Bellamy Road, Florida’s first major federal highway, and how it shaped early infrastructure in our state.
